Because I haven't been in school for a few weeks, I thought I would make a short video to share my critique on the latest lots of photos!

Visiting an exhibition

Leven class visited the library to see an exhibition of photographs, showing local history and the way Darwen has changed.  It was called 'Darwen Days'.

It made the class realise that they will soon be having to select photographs themselves (from the many they've taken) and finding a venue to exhibit them.  Even deciding on a title for the exhibition will be required.

More good learning at Holy Trinity

This week we tried to take different photos to the previous week but we have decided we need to take pictures at different times of day.  This is because everyone's timetable is the same each Wednesday when we have our slot for photography.

We changed our groups this week to give people chance to mix with different people.  Some groups said they preferred their new group!  Mrs Hollows pulled our names out of a box, so it was done randomly.  Harriet and Matty always end up together somehow!!

The weather was very good so we took outdoor pictures as well as indoor ones.

We think we have improved in the way we take pictures of learning over the weeks and that our pictures are now more natural, as people are used to us coming round with the cameras and just ignore us!
