Leven class visited the library to see an exhibition of photographs, showing local history and the way Darwen has changed. It was called 'Darwen Days'.
It made the class realise that they will soon be having to select photographs themselves (from the many they've taken) and finding a venue to exhibit them. Even deciding on a title for the exhibition will be required.
What do you think of the exhibition Graham?
The exhibition looks really intriguing and I will be having a look at it in person before I come to school next week. I'm glad to see that each photo has a caption card underneath it to tell you a little about it, because we will definitely need these for our exhibition - and maybe we can be more creative about how we do this.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like there are a lot of photos on display in this exhibition. I wonder if we will need that many. Perhaps ours could be bigger too - and in colour of course! Then again, maybe we could print some of them in black and white.
It also looks like the photos are all together on one wall and very neatly arranged in rows. We don't know what kind of display space we will have. It might not just be a wall. So I wonder if we can be more creative in how we arrange our photos.
Lots to talk about next time!
